The Hurricanes have partnered with RubyLED, a leader in performance-enhancing Red Light Therapy Devices, for the 2022 Super Rugby season – A move that is already improving the way the team recovers from training and games.
As part of the partnership, RubyLED has supplied the Hurricanes with its professional level RubyLED Red Light Therapy Devices and Stands. They have setup a dedicated RubyLED recovery room for the teams to use daily to maximise the benefits of Red Light Therapy before and immediately after training and games.
Red Light Therapy is used by professional athletes and trainers around the world to boost performance and improve recovery times. Light therapy stimulates the mitochondria within the cells to produce energy. Light therapy can also speed up the recovery process by improving blood flow, reducing inflammation, and repairing tears within the muscles faster.
