Fans urged to pre-purchase for quarter-final

A fine weather forecast, strong ticket sales, two quality teams and a chance to mark a special milestone for two of the Hurricanes all-time favourite players are all factors pointing towards a bumper crowd for Saturday night’s Investec Super Rugby quarter-final.

Close to 16,000 tickets for the sudden death play-off have already been sold which strongly points to the Hurricanes having their biggest home town support of the season when the Bulls arrive at Westpac Stadium.

Fans are being urged to pre-purchase their tickets to avoid queues and secure the best available seating at Our House where TJ Perenara and Beauden Barrett will bring up the 100th game they have played as a halfback and first five-eighth combination for the Hurricanes.

Captain Dane Coles wants Hurricanes fans to be their advantage against the three-time Super Rugby champions who are stacked with experienced Springboks.

“We love playing at home and having our fans really get behind us and we want to hear that great support on Saturday,” he said.

Tickets, which can be purchased from www.ticketrocket.co.nz are really affordable with bronze adult tickets priced at $23.50. It is also easy to take the younger fans along with an adult and child in the Bluebridge Family Zone priced at $30.
