Canes U18 team named for Crusaders clash

The Hurricanes U18 team has been selected to face their Canterbury counterparts in Blenheim on Monday.

The team was selected from a week-long camp in Feilding, where players endured fitness testing, scenario-based training, and position specific detail.

Hurricanes Development team coach, Darren Larsen, will lead the team, with the assistance of Blair van Stipraan (Palmerston North Boys' High School) and Tom Cairns (Gisborne Boys' High School).

The 23 players selected to face the Crusaders Under 18s are;

Tiaan Falcon, Tim Farrell, Marino Mikaele-Tuu, Al Moimoisea,Pouri Rakete-Stones (Hawke's Bay)

Sione Asi, Braydon Iose, Vilimoni Korori,Jona Nareki, and Thomas Stewart (Manawatu)

Angus McDonald, NaeraTipoki, and Isaia Walker-Leawere (Poverty Bay)

Stephen Perofeta (Wanganui)

Asafo Aumua, Josh Brown, Alex Fidow, Losi Filipo, Kemara Hauiti-Parapara,Henry Mexted, Ben Power, Thomas Umaga-Jensen, and Peter Umaga-Jensen (Wellington)
