The Hurricanes Partner with Digital Marketplace The Global Collective

The Hurricanes have announced a multi-year partnership with online digital marketplace The Global Collective (TGC).

The Global Collective helps premium brands connect to customers globally through an innovative digital platform and is already working with a select group of New Zealand brands to explore opportunities across several new marketplaces.

Hurricanes Commercial General Manager Chris Yeo is excited about the new partnership.

“The Global Collective is an amazing company of talented experts helping premium brands connect to buyers, expand into new territories and export. I am delighted the Hurricanes can be a small part of their go-to-market strategy by helping showcase Kiwi brands using our extensive global exposure.”

“We are proud to have TGC on the collar of our Playing and Training Jerseys as well as our Media Polos worn by players and management.”

The Global Collective Founder and Director, Sandy Rudd and the team are equally excited about the opportunity to partner with the Hurricanes.

“One of the most exciting aspects of partnering with the Hurricanes is the synergies we share in core values, culture and bringing communities together through experience.”

“When you get to partner with a brand that can literally stop a nation for 80 minutes or so, you know you that you have made the right decision.”

“Our go-to-market strategy has always been about changing things up, and our approach to partners are no different and that’s why the partnership with the Hurricanes makes perfect sense.”

“We welcome the Hurricanes into our TGC community and are thoroughly excited about being a part of theirs.”
