The Hurricanes vs the Brumbies has always been a close encounter in the Super Rugby calendar. There is no doubt that the Hurricanes will be looking to gain revenge on the Brumbies side following last years deflating 52-10 loss away from home in Canberra. Only one player has scored more than one try in a match against the Hurricanes in Napier, and that is former Hurricanes midfielder Pita Alatini who scored a brace for the Highlanders in 2001.
