SkyCity Entertainment Group has announced an exciting new multi-year partnership as the official entertainment partner to the Blues, Gallagher Chiefs, Hurricanes, Crusaders and Highlanders.

DHL Super Rugby Pacific is known for its intensity, passion and unmatched atmosphere and SkyCity’s partnership with the clubs will help amplify the experience for fans in stadia nationwide. Across the coming seasons, SkyCity will introduce new entertainment initiatives that enhance matchdays and bring supporters even closer to the game.

Whether you're cheering from the stands or watching from home, this partnership aims to make every moment of the season feel bigger, more connected and more memorable for rugby fans across Aotearoa.

SkyCity CEO Jason Walbridge says the partnership represents a major nationwide step for the business and builds on deep regional relationships already in place.

“Rugby is part of New Zealand’s DNA, and partnering with all five NZ Super Rugby teams is a milestone we’re immensely proud of. It gives us a great opportunity to connect with fans and communities across the whole of Aotearoa.”

Walbridge acknowledged SkyCity’s ongoing role within rugby communities, including its long-standing support of the Gallagher Chiefs through SkyCity Hamilton.

“Our commitment to the Chiefs has shown us firsthand how rugby brings people together. Growing that support across all five NZ clubs strengthens our entertainment promise nationally”.

Interim Blues CEO, Andy Roberts, welcomed the partnership, noting its importance for the competition nationwide.

“DHL Super Rugby Pacific ignites passion like nothing else, and entertainment is what SkyCity does best. Together, we’re creating a place where fans can feel the energy, live the emotion and experience something unforgettable.

This is a major moment for our clubs. SkyCity’s support ensures that our teams are strongly positioned both on and off the field and their commitment will help us invest in player development, fan engagement and more.”

The partnership sets the stage for seasons to come. Bigger moments, louder crowds and the ultimate experience for New Zealand rugby fans.
