Nine Hurricanes have been included in the All Blacks squad for the upcoming Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship.

Jordie Barrett, Cam Roigard, Tyrel Lomax, Billy Proctor, Pasilio Tosi, Ruben Love, and Du’Plessis Kirifi have all retained their places in the national side in the wake of their clean sweep of France during the Lipovitan-D Series in July.

All seven players featured at various stages throughout the series, with Kirifi earning his test debut during the opening match of the series in Dunedin.

Barrett has again been reinstated as a vice-captain of the squad after successfully returning to the All Blacks from his title-winning sabbatical with Irish club Leinster.

Joining them in the national setup is loose forward Peter Lakai, who is set to add to his three test caps after missing the French tests due to a knee injury.

Additionally, uncapped prop Tevita Mafileo has been named as injury cover for the start of the Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship in place of Lomax, who will miss the opening matches of the tournament while he recovers from hand surgery.

Roigard will also be unavailable for the start of the Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship after sustaining a stress fracture in his foot. His return to play will be assessed in two weeks.

Asafo Aumua has been listed as unavailable for selection due to injury.

The All Blacks depart for Argentina on Friday and begin their campaign with two tests against Los Pumas in Cordoba on 17 August and Buenos Aires on 24 August.

That will be followed by two tests against the Springboks in Auckland on 6 September and Wellington on 13 September, before a two-test Bledisloe Cup series against the Wallabies in Auckland on 27 September and Perth on 4 October.
