The Hurricanes and Flicket have today announced a new ticketing partnership.
Flicket, a New Zealand-owned provider who also supplies the Super Rugby teams’ the Chiefs, Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika, will provide ticketing for the franchise ahead of the 2023 DHL Super Rugby Pacific and SKY Super Rugby Aupiki competitions.
Hurricanes CEO, Avan Lee said ticketing was an important part of the game day experience.
“Ticketing is a significant part of our business, and one of the many crucial parts of our fans' game day experience.
“It's that first vital touchpoint with our fans, so as we work to better the overall experience, it was important to us that we strive for the most seamless and customer-centric ticketing process possible.
“We’re excited to partner with Flicket and provide our fans the best experience on offer.
“We look forward to collaborating on this new venture, and together with other franchises, continue to change the landscape of ticketing for sporting events in New Zealand,” said Lee.
Flicket is New Zealand’s fastest growing ticketing and data solutions company. Flicket has a strong focus on seamlessly connecting the sports and entertainment industry directly with their fans, enhancing their relationships with their most loyal supporters, while providing their partners with complete control over the ticketing process.
Flicket CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Calvert said: "We are honoured to partner with the Hurricanes as we share their commitment to putting fans first and providing the best possible experience for rugby fans in New Zealand.
“As a New Zealand-owned and operated ticketing and data agency, Flicket is dedicated to helping preserve the important role that rugby plays in the lives of New Zealanders.
