Hurricanes' Day Out, Porirua

While it may be a bye week for the Canes next week, the squad will still be getting busy - particularly in Porirua.

On Thursday, March 5, the Hurricanes Development team will suit up for their first match of the season against the Crusader Knights at Porirua Park.

A number of players from the main squads of both the Hurricanes and Crusaders are expected to feature in the match, and with gate entry just a gold coin donation, they're hoping for a big crowd to play for.

Having not been beaten since 2010, the Canes' development side will be looking to continue their unbeaten run when the match kicks off at 3pm.

Following the game, a skills and drills session for all kids will be run by the Hurricanes from 4.30pm-5.15pm.

This will be an awesome chance to welcome the Hurricanes back to home soil ahead of their first home match in Palmerston North on March 13.

We hope to see you there!
