Hurricanes Schools team named to defend national title

A 23-strong Hurricanes Secondary Schools team has been named to defend its National U18 Secondary School Tournament title next week.

Higher Honours for Hurricanes Players

Six current  Hurricanes players, including new caps Aaron Cruden and Victor Vito, have been named in the All Blacks squad for their three-Test Steinlager Series against Ireland and Wales and a further six will line up for the New Zealand Maori against the New Zealand Barbarians, Ireland and England in the Sealord New Zealand Māori Centenary Series.

So’oialo and Smith to link with UK Barbarians

Hurricanes players Rodney So’oialo and David Smith have accepted invitations to join the UK Barbarians for their two matches against England and Ireland over the next fortnight.
