Tickets for Hurricanes quarter-final available from Saturday afternoon

Tickets for Friday night’s Investec Super Rugby derby play-off between the Hurricanes and Chiefs will go on pre-sale to members and casual ticketholders from 2018 on Saturday afternoon. Fans can access the pre sale using promo code CANES by clicking HERE. The public on-sale will commence at 5pm on Monday, July 16, via  www.ticektdirect.co.nz

The Hurricanes have moved to make ticket prices as affordable as possible, holding most prices to the levels of the regular season to encourage fans to get to Westpac Stadium and enjoy what promises to be one of the best matches of the season. Bronze adult pre-sale tickets cost just $22.50.

The club has made Westpac Stadium, dubbed Our House by fans, a fortress with the last loss coming way back on June 9, 2017.

“Our fans are huge for us and we really hope they can get to the quarter-final and help us keep our season alive. We are really proud of our home record this season and a big reason we are unbeaten is because of our fans,” Hurricanes captain Brad Shields said.

The Hurricanes are looking forward to hosting a large number of families at the match with the quarter-final falling during the school holiday period. Child tickets start at just $11.50 with 1 Adult and 1 Child in the Family Zone just $30.

Platinum covered and uncovered adult members will not have to do anything extra to head to the quarter-final, they simply have to present their membership cards as normal at the turnstiles.

However, Silver and Bronze adults, Family Zone, Student and child members across all categories will need to purchase their same seats before the public on-sale commences. Try Pack and Canes Global members will have the opportunity to pre purchase tickets to the quarter- final.

If for any reason members have not been contacted by 9am Sunday, July 15, they can simply email [email protected] to receive more information.

It could also be the last opportunity Hurricanes fans get to see some of their favourite players run out on to Our House with Shields, wing Julian Savea, loose forward Blade Thomson, lock Michael Fatialofa and utility back Ihaia West heading to the northern hemisphere at the end of the Super Rugby season.

The quarterfinal will also hold special significance for prop Jeff Toomaga-Allen who will play his 100th Super Rugby match, just the 15th Hurricanes player to reach the milestone.

Fans who purchase their tickets prior to 5pm on Wednesday, July 18, will go into the draw to win a host of prizes (Platinum adult members will be included in this prize draw), including:

  • A signed 2018 Hurricanes jersey
  • A signed 2018 Hurricanes match ball
  • A Hurricanes quarter final captain’s run experience for four
  • One of 10 $50 Green Man vouchers
