Pink Shirt Day

18 May is Pink Shirt Day – a day when people around the world take a stand against bullying. The Hurricanes are joining this chorus of people saying no to bullying. We are standing up and speaking out.

Some of our players are wearing pink laces at the game on Friday night agains the Reds, as their way to stand against bullying.

In New Zealand, Pink Shirt Day aims to create schools, workplaces and communities where all people feel safe, valued and respected.  For more information go to https://www.pinkshirtday.org.nz/.
