Fancy rubbing shoulders with the Hurricanes squad? How about watching your children receive exclusive coaching sessions with some of the world’s best players?
As a Hurricanes member you can do exactly that with a series of exclusive events designed to get you as close as you can to our Super Rugby stars.
Signing up as a Hurricanes member will set you up to attend our popular members captain’s run which will be held at Westpac Stadium on Friday, April 26 – the day before the Hurricanes face the Chiefs in what promises to be another classic New Zealand derby.
It will be a fantastic opportunity for our youngest fans with the date specifically chosen to coincide with the school holidays.
Members will be able to watch the captain’s run from the comfort of the BNZ Platinum Lounge or head out on to the bowl. There will be food and beverages available while members will be able to hear from key personnel within the squad on how the team is progressing ahead of a repeat of the 2018 quarter-final.
There will also be the opportunity to get up close to the players with a signing session post training while there will also be plenty of Hurricanes prizes on offer through our raffle draws.
An equally important opportunity for our junior members is the kids’ coaching clinic which will be held on Wednesday, May 1.*
It’s an exclusive opportunity for our junior members to train with members of the squad as the likes of Ben Lam show them how to beat defenders while Jordie Barrett reveals the key to his tremendous goal kicking technique.
A signing session will follow the coaching clinic and it is a great way to create special memories for the whole family.
Our Platinum members will also get their own exclusive coaching clinic when there will be the opportunity for more one-on-one coaching with members of the Hurricanes squad.
Another popular event is the open training at Rugby League Park with a date soon to be released.
