Bachcare Backs the Hurricanes for 2022 Super Rugby Pacific and Super Rugby Aupiki

The Hurricanes have announced a partnership with Bachcare, New Zealand’s leading short term home rental management company ahead of the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific and Aupiki season.

From humble beginnings managing 5 rental properties in the beautiful Coromandel town of Hahei, Bachcare now have a stable of over 2,000 holiday homes throughout New Zealand and in the Hurricanes region.

Joining forces with the Hurricanes and the Hurricanes women’s team, Bachcare will offer traveling fans the opportunity to find their happy place and stay in amazing holiday accommodation throughout the Super Rugby Season and beyond.

Hurricanes Commercial General Manager Chris Yeo said he was thrilled to partner with Bachcare.

“I’m excited to have such a fantastic Kiwi brand like Bachcare offering Hurricanes Fans an amazing selection of holiday homes to choose from around the country as well as becoming a founding partner of Hurricanes women’s team”.

“Bachcare will be proudly displayed on the collar of the Hurricanes women’s jersey when the Women run out in the inaugural Super Rugby Aupiki competition, and I know the team greatly value their support.”

Becoming a founding partner of the Hurricanes women’s team was a big driver for Bachcare, said Bachcare Marketing Manager, Zaina Razzaq.

‘We partnered with the Hurricanes because the Wellington region is a key growth area for the business. But, more importantly, we believe in what the franchise stands for and the work they do to enrich local communities – an absolute must when we look to partner with businesses.”

"Backing and empowering wāhine is at the heart of our business, which was founded by a strong woman in 2003. While she’s moved on to other ventures, women remain a powerhouse at Bachcare representing two-thirds of our leadership team.”

“We want to support amazing Kiwi talent on the field, help change the narrative of New Zealand rugby, and inspire future generations to chase their dreams of becoming professional athletes.”

Bachcare will not only support Hurricanes players but will also extend to all Hurricanes Fans with the chance to experience their fabulous range of holiday rentals throughout the season.
