Rhys Duggan

Bio

1999 All Black, Rhys Duggan played for the Hurricanes in 1996 as part of a prolific career that also saw him play for the Highlanders as well as seven seasons for the Chiefs between 1997-2005.

Duggan was chosen as the third All Blacks halfback for the 1999 World Cup, where he played his sole test against Italy in pool play. He also represented New Zealand A and New Zealand Sevens. Duggan was a regular in New Zealand Maori sides, making his debut for the Maori in 1996 against Samoa, and in the same year toured Fiji and Tonga.

He was also on the Maori tour of Scotland in 1998 and in Australia in each of the 2001 of 2002 seasons. Duggan's many games for the Maori include internationals against the three Pacific nations, Argentina (twice), Scotland (twice), England and Australia (twice).
