Blade Thomson
Bio
Blade Thomson left the Hurricanes at the end of the 2018 season after a Super Rugby career that was severely interupted by two serious shoulder injuries.
The former New Zealand Under-20 representative was a player with imense ability who many believed could have been an All Black had it not been for those injuries.
He always worked as hard as he could to make it back for the Hurricanes and was the first choice No 8 by the end of the 2018 season.
Thomson left to take up a contract with the Scarlets in Wales.
